Restaurant chain 'Speciality Restaurant Limited', which owns and operates brands like Mainland China, Asia Kitchen by Mainland China, Oh! Calcutta, Gong, Siciliana, Sigree-Global grill. Haka, Sweet Bengal and Walters has announced its Q1 FY27 result.
The total income for the quarter stands at Rs. 129.79 crore, up 15.69 percent from 108.73 crore in the same quarter last year. the EBITDA has risen to 17.56 percent to Rs, 27.85 crore, and profit after tax has grown by 21.13 percent to Rs 6.88 crore. The total comprehensive income comes in at Rs. 6.57 crore compared to Rs. 6.09 crore in Q1 FY26.
On a consolidated basis, total income for the quarter was Rs. 131.30 crore, up 14.66 percent from Rs 114.51 crore a year earlier. EBITDA grew 21.28 percent to Rs 28.61 crore, while profit after tax rose to Rs 7.11 crore, up from Rs 5.12 crore in Q1FY26. Total comprehensive income for the quarter stood at Rs. 6.73 crore, against Rs. 6.56 crore in the same period last year.
For the company, this promise a strong start for FY27, with revenue from operations growing by 16.8 percent year-on-year and more important profit growing by 38.9 percent to 7.11 crore.
Another important indicator of the strength of the existing portfolio is SSSG which stands at 11.35 percent growth across restaurant and confectionaries. It clearly demonstrates that the established outlets continue to see healthy consumer demand and are generating strong organic growth, independent of the contribution from new stores.
The company insists that they continue to remain focused on improving the productivity of existing network, enhancing customer experience, maintaining cost discipline and pursuing calibrated expansion. The objective is to build on momentum and deliver sustainable revenue and profitability growth in the quarters ahead.
